Abstract

The November/December 2009 issue of "The Art of Health Promotion" examines the purpose and implementation of administrative infrastructures within the workplace for health promotion services to employees. The author provides a definition and discusses the importance of administrative infrastructures. He examines 16 essential components of an organizational wellness program including a wellness program design team, an employee wellness network, and email capability. He also notes the difference between employee wellness and health plans.
