Abstract

As we move towards an increasingly connected and mobile society and working environment, we find people working via multiple (and more frequently, personal) devices out of the office and on the road. The risk of theft or loss of information via these devices is of concern to all IT specialists, yet only some 6% of companies have developed and implemented a formal policy to govern the use of personal devices in the workplace. © 2013 Elsevier Ltd.
