Abstract

The article presents facts to several assumptions in different aspects of training. Some of the myths cited include the role of open-plan offices in encouraging informal learning and engagement, the installation of software to improve performance management and the use of tablets and other mobile devices to transform learning. Other notions discussed include performance feedback, the use of electronic technology for communication and women in the executive ranks.
