This article examines the use of a group format promoting transition to unversity from community college for Hispanic students. The group format exposed students to Hispanic role models as well as have the students do extensive writing and reflective discourse. The program was successful in transitioning students to the university and all students persisted through their junior year. The implications for this article in my research is that it provides possible program ideas in the transitition Hispanic students from GED to community college.
