Abstract

The numerical study of complex fluids offers a challenge to numerical simulation as the systems under consideration are too large to be treated by conventional atomistic models, yet too small to be treated macroscopically. This paper sketches some of the recent trends in the numerical study of phase behavior of complex liquids. The importance of the entropy for the phase-behavior is illustrated. © 1994.
