Abstract

The article focuses on the adoption of a continuous quality improvement (CQI) approach by the Department of Nursing at Norfolk State University in Virginia that aims to enhance the school's program outcomes. It discusses the development of a quality enhancement plan (QEP) that are intended to increase NCLEX-RN pass rates, enhance student advisement processes, and to maximize student satisfaction. The quality of the assessment and evaluation tools and processes used to meet the outcomes are described and evaluated.
