About ResPublica The ResPublica Trust (ResPublica) is an independent non-partisan think tank. Through our research, policy innovation and programmes, we seek to establish a new economic, social and cultural settlement. In order to combat the concentration of wealth and power in our country we work to encourage the greater distribution of ownership and agency to all. In order to heal its cultural rifts, we equally work to encourage a re-instilling of codes of honour and virtue across all sections of our economy and society. ResPublica Essays ResPublica essays are powerful and extended thought pieces, composed of radical argument and reflective analysis which promote new innovations in public ideas and policy-making. Providing a platform for policy-makers, academics, commentators and politicians of all parties and persuasions, the 'ResPublica essay' is an ideal medium to communicate and argue for the much-needed shifts in philosophy, policy and practice. Each essay is produced in a virtual format and distributed widely across the political spectrum, public and private sector and concerned individuals throughout the UK and worldwide. We welcome new submissions for future ResPublica essays at any time of the year. We encourage those who wish to communicate their ideas and innovations to get in touch with us.
