Abstract

Studies the shifting cultivation system practiced in the tropical dry forests of western Guerrero, Mexico. Characterization based on crop diversity, maize cultivation and fallow management; Utilization of strategies such as seasonal labor allocation patterns, varying fallow cycle lengths and application of chemical products.
