Abstract

This article summarizes the recent advances in the crystal growth, structural control strategies and diverse structures of the binary metal imidazolate and triazolate frameworks, which are the simplest systems for crystal engineering of two-, three- and four-connected coordination polymers. © The Royal Society of Chemistry 2006.
