Abstract

This is a collection of essays documenting recent experiences in the implementation of decentralization programmes. It includes introductory and concluding chapters on the role of voluntary organizations, the decentralization of integrated rural development projects, and organizational linkages for decentralized rural development, with regional chapters on Asia, East Africa, North Africa, and Latin America.
