This article presents the results of an investigation called " Education for Development: a state of the art " , which was carried out by the Center of Education for Development -CED of the Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios-Uniminuto between February and November of 2009. The objective of this investigation was to read formally and critically conceptual developments, methodologies and practices of the Education for Development's (EpD) from the point of view of different organizations and institutions around the world, with the purpose of enriching the existing knowledge on this subject and proposing a formation model based on these reflections. To achieve this, we present an analysis of documents related to ED from a critical perspective.
