This article discusses the concept of education for business administration in the United States with specific reference to two articles, "Higher Education for Business," by Robert A. Gordon and James E. Howell, and "The Education of American Business Men: A Study in University-College Programs in Business Administration," by Frank C. Pierson. The author discusses how business administration is a rapidly growing area in education; however, he is alarmed by the lack of unity in the curriculums being taught. The two studies that the author discusses outline this problem and he urges universities to reexamine their business education programs and adjust them accordingly to improve instruction methods and course material.
