Abstract

The author offers insights on the relevance of effective learning to music teachers in retrospect of the arguments presented by Steven Johnson is his book "Everything Bad is Good for You: How Today's Popular Culture is Actually Making Us Smarter." He infers that the cognitive development resulting from video games that challenges motor skills provides a suitable paradigm for music teachers in building effective educational tools.
