Abstract

The article reports that one of the biggest challenges facing quality or Six Sigma managers is gaining the commitment and involvement of employees. Particularly in large organizations, reaching thousands of employees in a consistent fashion can be a logistical nightmare. E-Learning is a relatively new computer technology that has growing importance in quality. One of the difficulties that formerly inhibited the adoption of multimedia and computer based training was installation. E-learning has overcome this problem. Any user at a site simply connects to a corporate Web site, using an Internet browser to access training at any time.
