Abstract

FloSeal hemostatic matrix has been reported to be effective for the control of intraoperative bleeding in various surgeries. We report 3 patients who experienced a possible allergic response to FloSeal with the formation of excessive granulation tissue and fibrosis that were associated with early postoperative pelvic pain that led to additional surgical intervention. © 2009 Mosby, Inc.
