Abstract

This Executive Summary is a synopsis of findings reported by 20 CEWG representatives and issues discussed by participants at the June 2006 CEWG meeting. At the meeting, presentations covered special populations and issues in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area; the epidemiology of drug abuse in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina; and an international panel on monitoring of drug abuse trends in Latin America. The full papers of the CEWG representatives will appear in the June 2006 Epidemiologic Trends in Drug Abuse, Volume II; summaries of selected presentations by other participants appear in this Executive Summary.
