This research analyzes the use of styles and le-arning strategies in different university specialties and its relationship with the course and the acade-mic achievement. The investigation hypotheses is contrasted in function of its multivariateand.H.A.E.A responded to the questionnaires. CHAEA and A.C.R.A. The results point at significantdifferences in relation to a bigger employment of strategies on the part of the students of Humanities;a deeper study based on the search of relations among the contents in the last years os studies, and onstudents, with a better academic perfomance, the results show a smaller use of the active style of lear-ning, and bigger use, as a whole, of metacognitive, social-afectives (self-instructions) and self-contro-lled strategies that compose up the support scale to the process of learning.
