This study was conducted in the Turkana area of Kenya. It focuses on the pastoral people of the area and their livestock. This paper addresses the manner and extent to which a nomadic pastoral people make use of the plant species in their environment. The authors go over classification, medicinal uses, and food uses of plants of the area. There is an appendix of the plants and uses at the end of the report.
