Abstract

This chapter considers both existing fibre-reinforced laminated composites as well as recent developments. It examines fibre and matrix systems, processing and joining, and repair techniques. The chapter also discusses the various properties, modelling and applications of advanced fibre-reinforced laminates in aerospace engineering.
