Abstract

The article discusses the characteristics of church programs in which foundations or corporations will be motivated to offer funding and grant supports to help the ministry's outreach efforts. These characteristics include a program that sets certain outcomes, a program which possesses a well-developed plan and a program that works collaboratively with other organizations. It notes that grant funders are great partners in ministry which help add money and resources to the time in congregation.
