Study selection in systematic reviews is prone to bias and there exist no commonly defined strategies of how to reduce the bias and resolve disagreement between researchers. This study aims at identifying strategies for bias reduction and disagreement resolution. A review of existing systematic reviews is conducted for study selection strategy identification. In total 13 different strategies have been identified. © 2011 IEEE.
