Abstract

The European business environment of the 1990s is both dynamic and turbulent. Unprecedented waves of change are destroying many of the traditions and conventions which have served to perpetuate, and have been perpetuated, by many of the "old" management systems. Management is about anticipating and controlling change, and the type and nature of management will contribute significantly to the success or failure of ventures operating within this new evolving business scenario. Managers need to attempt to understand how the process of change can be better facilitated through their actions.
