Abstract

In this paper, polymeric amphiphilic nanoparticles based on oleoyl-chitosan (OCH) with different degrees of substitution (DS, 5%, 11% and 27%) were prepared by Oil/Water emulsification method. Mean diameters of the nanoparticles were 327.4 nm, 255.3 nm and 192.6 nm, respectively. Doxorubicin (DOX) was efficiently loaded into OCH nanoparticles and provided a sustained released after a burst release in PBS.
