Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan perencanaan kurikulum SMP Negeri 2 Mojoagung Jombang, (2) Untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan kurikulum SMP Negeri 2 Mojoagung-Jombang, (3) Untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan evaluasi kurikulum SMP Negeri 2 Mojoagung-Jombang.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus karena dengan rancangan studi kasus akan mengungkap secara deskriptif semua fenomena, kejadian, masalah di suatu lokasi penelitian.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi (1) observasi,(2) wawancara mendalam, (3) studi dokumentasi.Adapun teknik untuk mengecek keabsahan data mnggunakan triangulasi data.Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data,verifikasi atau kesimpulan.Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah (1) perencanaan kurikulum di SMP Negeri 2 Mojoagung Jombang meliputi: (a) dilaksanakan Sebelum awal tahun ajaran pelajaran; (b) Bertujuan untuk menentukan pemilihan tujuan pembelajaran; (c) Dinas pendidikan di wakili oleh salah satu pengawas sekolah, semua stake holder; (d) Kegiatan perencanaan dimulai dari permulaan tahun pelajaran; (e) terdapat langkah perencanakan kurikulum; dan (f) Perencanaan kurikulum yang diawal pembelajaran; (2) pelaksanaan kurikulum di SMP Negeri 2 Mojoagung Jombang meliputi: (a) Dilakukan oleh guru mata pelajaran; (b) Pelaksanaan pengelolaan ada monitoring dan evaluasi; (c) Pelaksanaan kurikulum dalam pembagian tugas guru; (d) Pelaksanaan kurikulum di monitoring oleh kepala sekolah; (e) Pelaksanaan kurikulum dalam proses (KBM) sesuai dengan Silabus dan RPP; (3) evaluasi kurikulum di SMP Negeri 2 Mojoagung Jombang meliputi: (a) Dilaksanakan sesuai jadwal; (b) Evaluasi kurikulum dilakukan di akhir semester; (c) Diperlukan agar tidak terjadi penyimpangan; (d) Dilakukan untuk memantau, dan meningkatkan siswa; (e) Dilakukan koordinasi dengan Tim pengembang kurikulum dan kepala sekolah; (f) Melakukan tahap-tahap dalam evaluasi kurikulum; (g) untuk mengukur tercapainya tujuan program kurikulum. Abstract: This study aimed at: (1) Knowing and describing the process of planning the curriculum of SMP Negeri 2 Mojoagung Jombang, (2) Knowing and describing the process of implementing the curriculum of SMP Negeri 2 Mojoagung Jombang, (3) Knowing and describing the process of evaluating the curriculum of SMP Negeri 2 Mojoagung Jombang. Qualitative approach with case study design was employed in this study. This is considering that by using case study design, all the phenomena, events, and problems in a particular setting where the study was undertaken can be explained descriptively. The data collection techniques used were: (1) observation, (2) in-depth interview, (3) documentary study. In addition, triangulation technique was used to test the validity of the data. Furthermore, data analysis technique used data reduction, data presentation, and verification or conclusion. This study revealed that (1) the planning of the curriculum management in SMP Negeri 2 Mojoagung Jombang was: (a) done before the beginning of the school year; (b) aimed at determining the criteria of the learning objectives; (c) the department of Education was represented by one of the school superintendents, and all the stakeholders; (d) the activity of planning started from the beginning of the school year; (e) there were steps taken for planning the curriculum; and (f) the planning of the curriculum was started on the beginning of the school year; (2) the implementation of the curriculum in SMP Negeri 2 Mojoagung Jombang was: (a) done by the teacher of each subject taught in the school; (b) there were monitoring and evaluation on the implementation of the curriculum management; (c) the implementation of the curriculum belonged to the division of the teacher's duty; (d) the implementation of the curriculum was monitored by the school headmaster; (e) the implementation of the curriculum in the teaching and learning process was appropriate with the syllabus and lesson plan; (3) the evaluation of the activity of the curriculum management in SMP Negeri 2 Mojoagung Jombang was: (a) done based on the schedule; (b) the evaluation of the curriculum was done in the end of the semester; (c) needed to avoid irrelevancy; (d) done for monitoring and enhancing students' quality; (e) done through the coordination of the curriculum developer and the school headmaster; (f) steps were taken in the evaluation of the curriculum; (g) needed for measuring if the goals of the curriculum program were reached.
