Abstract

Studi ini diarahkan pada validasi dan penggunaan suatu model perhitungan perpindahan panas sederhana satu dimensi untuk memprediksi perubahan suhu udara dalam This study concern in the application of a simplified heat transfer model for simulation of thermal behaviour of tropical buildings. The model is to be integrated to a transient simulation program TRNSYS. The objective of this study is to predict the variable of indoor air temperature due to outdoors environmental climatic. The first case is about the comparison of the model with other model from ASHRAE (i.e. Transfer Function Method). The second case is the application of the model for a thermal simulation of a 7-zones typical tropical house. The simulation results (indoor air temperature and surfaces temperature) are to be then compared to the results from field measurement. The comparison shows that there is similarity between those two approaches.
