Abstract

Curriculum integration models include interdisciplinary, problem-based, and theme-based approaches. Successful implementation requires a shift to constructivist teaching, teacher professional development, teacher learning communities, skills to facilitate small-group and experiential learning, authentic assessment methods, and systemic reform.
