Abstract

This hands-on session will help you set up the gradebook for your Moodle classes this spring. Learn how to work with categories and items in your gradebook, setting up weighted means to match your grading percentages, and generally how to have Moodle calculate the grades on your courses. Using the Moodle gradebook is a good way to provide prompt feedback to students, one of the seven principles of good practice in undergraduate education.
