Abstract

The article discusses the transition from the Anglo-American Cataloguing Rules (AACR2), second edition to Resource Description and Access (RDA) rules. As a result of the change in the rules of transcription, catalogers and catalog users should be able to match catalog records with resources together more easily and completely. The end of the Rule of Three is discussed. Also noted is the elimination of the use of Old Testament and New Testament in uniform titles for Bibles and their parts.
