Describes a process set up to facilitate a group of people with a history of psychosis. The group was based on W. A. Anthony's notions of recovery, and incorporated a narrative approach, while remaining consistent with H. Northen's groupwork model. Particular attention is paid to the preplanning and initial session of the group, to the use of letters, and to the incorporation of a reflective team approach. Documentation of the discoveries made by the group members is included in full. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2012 APA, all rights reserved)
