Abstract

THE Eaton collection of Psychodidre now in the British Museum, contains much material collected by Eaton in Algeria and the Canary Islands during the years 1893-1904. The following new species, from the Eaton collection of Psychodidro are described: Canary Islands.-Pericoma mollis n. sp., P. binunciolata n. sp., P. tenerifensis n.sp., Telmatoscopus (Mormia) tenebrosus n. sp. Algeria.-Clytocerus wollastoni n. sp., Pericoma propinqua n. sp., P. lucasii, P. atlantica n. sp., Telmatoscopus (Mormia) riparius n. sp., T. numidicus n. sp. The species Telmatoscopus fraudulenta Eaton is redescribed and the synonymy Psychoda rarotongensis Satchell 1953 = P. lucia Quate 1954 is noted.
