Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this work was to design a simple clinical protocol for assessing in a quantitative way the postural control deficit in Parkinson's disease subjects as a response to postural disturbances. The experimental set-up consists of a force platform and a hand-held pushing device. A set of response parameters has been defined. The performance of a group of patients is compared with a contr"ol group.
