Abstract

The network models used in power system analysis are mostly based on bus frame of reference. The bus impedance and admittance matrices are developed using building algorithms. While teaching the algorithms, branch-at-a-time approach is normally adopted. Concepts of bus-fusion and busseparation can add to the understanding of the network models and provide solutions to special problems.
