The purpose of the article is to present the current issues connected with psychological foundations of strategic management. The article consists of two main parts. In the first one the behavioral strategy has been defined as a merger of cognitive and social psychology with strategic management theory and practice. In particular the paper presents how middle managers’ group-focus emotions and how employee reciprocity influence the strategy implementation. The second part has presented the potential contributions of brain research to neurostrategy as the behavioral strategy microfundations. The aims and methods of neuroscience and its potential contributions to strategy has been discussed.
