Abstract

This document also includes the addition of new research that has been conducted using the ASPIRES. The growing literature on the ASPIRES continues to document the psychometric robustness of the instrument across samples, religions, cultures, and languages. Several studies have employed Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analyses aimed at determining the causal precedence of the ASPIRES scales on psychosocial functioning. A number of new cross-cultural studies have also been done using both the long and short forms.
