Abstract

Preparing disabled students for the workforce requires a comprehensive interdisciplinary vocational assessment and a focus on postschool planning. Information on school-to-work transition services for disabled students is provided, key components of successful postschool transitions are discussed, and advice for schools on how to encourage school and parental support for the school-to-work transition of disabled students is presented.
