Resumen Se registra por primera vez para las Antillas la presencia de la araña Cyrtophora citricola (Forskål, 1775), una especie del Viejo Mundo que en los últimos años ha colonizado con notable éxito la parte meridional de República Dominicana. Presence of Cyrtophora citricola (Forskål, 1775) (Araneae: Araneidae) in the West Indies Abstract The Old World spider Cyrtophora citricola (Forskål, 1775) is recorded for the first time from the West Indies. Over the past few years, this species has successfully colonized the southern part of the Dominican Republic (Hispaniola), Greater Antilles. It is the second American record for this species.
