The article discusses a study relating to the characteristics that are projected from employees wearing either formal or casual clothing. The study found that a majority of people feel that companies should have dress codes, that they would rather work at a company with a casual dress code and that a correlation existed between people's opinions relating to dress codes and the types of industries where they would like to work. Professional characteristics that the study found were projected from formal and casual dress codes are mentioned, including casual dress codes being associated with creativity and professional work attire being associate with productivity.
