Abstract

We demonstrate electrical polarization reversal and fabrication of quasi-periodic optical superlattice in c-cut KTiOPO4 by applying pulsed electric field to a sample. Domain switching process was monitored by recording the transient current during switching. The spontaneous polarization was measured to be 19.0 μC cm-2. The quasi-periodic domain reversal was confirmed by selective etching method.
