Abstract

The Social Exclusion Unit was commissioned by the Prime Minister to look at the high rates of reoffending by released prisoners. This built on other projects that we had done on truancy and exclusion of young people, homelessness and neighbourhood renewal. There are very strong links between these different piece of work. © 2002, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
