Abstract

This special issue includes 10 papers addressing issues on climate change and water management, as well as the agricultural, social and environmental aspects of climate change. Topics include: role of boundary organizations and governance regime, adaptation stategies of farmers to multiple stressors; stakeholder participation on climate variability; decision making and agricultural ecosystems; social vulnerability in extreme precipitation; impacts of climate change on forest distribution; pest outbreak distribution and forest management impacts under climate change; unequal information and water bargaining; and transboundary adaptive management to reduce climate change vulnerability.
