Abstract

This study provides information about clubhouse members' participation in a rehabilitation intervention program using daily life activities (occupations) to empower themselves with the self-determination and internal locus of control needed for their psychosocial rehabilitation. Clubhouse members participated in a ten-week goal-directed occupation-based program to develop psycho-educational strategies that could be integrated into the clubhouse structure for personal goal setting and attainment to improve overall health and wellness for community reengagement. © 2014 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
