Abstract

As biological and socio-cultural beings, humans areencouraged and aspire to "see" not only what comes "within sight," but alsowhat is not possible to see. Visualization is described as offering a methodof seeing the unseen. These ideas are organized into sections that focus onseeing the unseen in data, seeing the unseen in symbols and words, andforeseeing the unseen. (Contains 42 references.)(DDR)
