Social software is an umbrella containing mixture of technologies, internet services, and software. Internet has already demonstrated that it can be used for building online communities and inventing new innovative web services. What about business-to-business industrial usage? Does social computing have anything to offer to industrial business environments? The purpose of this paper is to analyze the potential of social software from the standpoint of industrial employment. This paper also includes a case study description of applying social software technologies to industrial context. Copyright the author(s) and CHISIG.
