Abstract

The closed micellar triclinic structure of a fluorescent phasmidic diacetylene (PhDO) has been fixed by topochemical photopolymerization which induced fluorescence quenching to offer a novel method of image photopatterning. © 2003 The Royal Society of Chemistry.
