Abstract

The article offers information on how a food company can evaluate sustainable practices in a supply-chain partner in the U.S. It states that food companies must ensure to meet consumer demands, demonstrate a commitment to sustainability, and improve asset utilization. Moreover, in evaluating a supply chain partner, the company must understand its business case, categorize their approaches and commitments, and being straightforward in assessing the performance of a supply chain.
