Abstract

A simple method for measuring the infrared refractive index of optical coatings as a function of wavelength and temperature is described. The values of dn dT are approximately -3.0 × 10-3(K-1) and 48 × 10-6(K-1) at 5 μm for lead telluride and zinc selenide, respectively. © 1990.
