Abstract

This study review Schumpeter's theory emphasizing the more relevant contributions to economic theory, showing it's economic development sight; notably to the analysis of the technical inovation process. It also introduces main and more consistent critiques to Schumpeterian prescriptions and finishes emphasizing the contemporaneousness of his theory. Key-words:
