Abstract

Mime is usually thought of as a performing art. Samuel Avital has evolved mime into a system of inventive exercises used to teach bodymind agility, responsiveness, discipline, and focus. Participants in his BodySpeak™ workshops explore an innovative method of self-discovery that develops kinesthetic intelligence - activating imagination by activating movement. © 2001 Harcourt Publishers Ltd.
