Abstract

The article discusses the concept of relational aesthetics and how it relates to graphic design. The concept was introduced by French curator and writer Nicolas Bourriaud. The article states that the basis of the concept is to judge artwork on the inter-human relations which they produce, prompt, or represent. The article cites several designers and what they think about relational aesthetics.
