Abstract

The article discusses the implications of technology-derived fundamental changes in scientific education. With the availability of calculation tools, research attention now a days needs to be focused on what the changing nature of scientific work predicts for the education of society, which is scientifically literate. Direct address of intellectual issues of the science curriculum should be the objective of research in science education. It is the knowledge of complex systems that combines both the experiment and observation of the real world, usage of computation for modeling and information search and analysis and underlying theory related to the properties of systems. As today every one deals with the models of complex real system and economic, career as well as other life decisions must also be based on some model. "The Journal of the Learning Sciences, advocates the education research community to pay attention to the growing complex nature of scientific knowledge along with its implications for the science education.
